Ar500 steel plate weight counting method

Packagingwhen each plate weight is under 1 ton, it will be in bundle with steel strips 2-4, when each plate weight is over 1ton, it will be piece by piece.

The processing works concludes cutting the larger plate into the small sizes customer demand, cut by drawing, cut to special sizes, weld the cut parts by drawing, also make galvanizing processing or surface painting on the final processed parts; steel pipe hollow bar cutting and lathe processing to make the outer diameter and wall thickness to meet customers requirement, also make heat treatment for hollow bars and pipes. Has large stocks for the carbon steel and low alloy steel plates and sheets, especially have the thick plate and heavy plates on stock, also can provide the special material and large size steel plates, boiler and pressure vessel steel plate, marine steel plate, hot rolled steel plate for new production.

Flame cutting

Flamecutting or “burning” of carbon steel plate is an effective and efficient way to cut carbon and alloy steel plate to size and shape. Burning begins by heating a spot on the edge or surface of a plate with an oxy-fuel flame, then injecting a high pressure stream of pure oxygen once the spot is red hot. Both the preheat flame and the cutting oxygen are delivered through a specially designed nozzle or tip. In the presence of the cutting oxygen stream, the red hot steel literally burns, combining with the oxygen to form iron oxides. It is this burning that cuts the plate as the stream of cutting oxygen advances along the path of the cut. The burning gives off an intense heat – greater than 2800º F – which melts steel bordering the cut path, turning it into slag that is ejected at the bottom of the cut along with the iron oxide by-products of the burning.
