  • This high-quality outdoor SF6 gas insulated ring main unit switchgear designed for 12kV industrial power distribution systems takes sulfur hexafluoride gas as the integrated insulation and arc extinguishing medium to build a fully sealed compact internal structure that can effectively isolate all live conductive parts from external rainwater, dust, salt fog and corrosive industrial gas, so the whole equipment can maintain stable and consistent electrical performance under long-term outdoor harsh working conditions without frequent internal maintenance work that traditional air-insulated distribution cabinets require. The internal conductive loop of this ring main unit has been optimized through precise electromagnetic simulation calculation to cut down unnecessary power loss during continuous power transmission, which endows the whole set of equipment with outstanding energy-saving performance and greatly reduces the long-term operation power consumption of industrial power grids and urban outdoor distribution networks. The whole cabinet shell is made of thickened stainless steel with seamless welding technology to reach IP65 full dustproof and waterproof protection grade, and all operating mechanisms are equipped with reliable mechanical interlock devices to prevent mis-switching and accidental contact with live components, fully protecting the personal safety of on-site operation and maintenance staff. Compared with conventional medium voltage switchgear, this SF6 ring main unit features a much smaller overall footprint and lighter overall weight, which brings great convenience for transportation, on-site installation and rapid layout of compact outdoor power distribution stations, and all core electrical parameters comply with international IEC standards to support flexible customized adjustment of loop quantity, protection functions and auxiliary monitoring modules according to different industrial park, municipal road and mining outdoor power supply projects.
