The aluminum dross stirrer, also known as an aluminum dross separator or dross agitator, is a machine designed to quickly recover aluminum from hot dross scraped from aluminum melting furnaces. This equipment is primarily suitable for processing enterprises that use aluminum as a raw material, such as electrolytic aluminum plants, aluminum component manufacturers, and aluminum alloy plants. Its operating principle relies on the difference in specific gravity between solid and liquid phases. Through mechanical agitation, molten aluminum settles to the bottom while slag floats to the surface, thereby achieving separation. The aluminum dross separator features thorough mechanical agitation, excellent separation efficiency, exhaust gas purification via cyclone and water bath dust removal, convenient operation and maintenance, and no need for external fuel.
The main components of an aluminum dross roasting machine include the processing vessel, the agitation and separation system, the discharge system, the flue gas treatment system, the power and control system, and auxiliary equipment. The core of the processing vessel is a heat-resistant pot or crucible used to hold hot aluminum dross. The agitation and separation system consists of a motor-driven agitation shaft and agitation blades, the height of which is adjustable. The discharge system is equipped with a discharge port for removing dross and a discharge port for discharging molten aluminum. The flue gas treatment system features an exhaust device at the top of the vessel, connected to equipment such as cyclone dust collectors, wet scrubbers, or pulse jet dust collectors. To achieve complete aluminum recovery, the system can be integrated with equipment such as cold ash bins, ball mills, trommel screens, and screw conveyors to form a complete processing line.
