Product description
  • Dual effects of strong deoxidation and deep desulfurization: Magnesium has extremely strong chemical activity. Its deoxidation and desulfurization capabilities far exceed those of single silicon iron or aluminum particles, thereby improving the purity of the metal.
  • Grain refinement improves the internal structure of the metal: Magnesium and silicon form a stable intermetallic compound Mg₂Si, reducing defects such as pores, shrinkage porosity, and thermal cracking in the casting, and enhancing the strength, toughness, and wear resistance of the finished product.
  • The reaction is stable, with high absorption rate and low loss: The vigorous combustion of silicon-buffered magnesium is suppressed. When added to the melt, there is little splashing and the burn loss is much lower than that of pure magnesium blocks, thereby reducing the overall material cost for customers.
  • Compatible with various feeding processes: direct feeding in block form in the furnace, feeding by particles from the silo, feeding wire from the core wire to the steel ladle. All automated production lines can be compatible, and the operation is simple.
