  • Trommel screen also known as a rotary screen, is a mechanical screening machine used to separate materials in the mineral and solid-waste processing is mainly used in gold processing, metallurgy, mine, coal, power station, water conservancy project, building industry, light industry, and chemical industry. It is efficient screening machine for classification of bulk material such as coal, minerals,coke etc. 1) Quarry: suitable for screening and classifying gravel, clay, mountain meal, sand, etc. 2) Coal Industry: suitable for screening and classifying lump coal, coal dust, coal washing, etc. 3) Chemical, fertilizer industry etc. 4) Mineral-selecting Industry: suitable for grading and classifying lump, powder substance, etc. 5) Metallurgy, construction, building materials, abrasives, and other industries.
  • Materials fed into the trommel screen, is lifted up by the rotation and aerated as it falls back down. This action is repeated with each revolution along the length of the drum. The three coupling shafts are designed higher than the screening surface, which enables the larger particles being stirred up and thus increases the screening efficiency. The particles larger than screen mesh size are discharged as the upper size materials which could be delivered away by belt conveyor,while the particles smaller than screen mesh are discharged as under size materials.
