How Slag Is Dried - Working Principle
The slag is evenly fed into the rotating cylinder. Internal lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the slag, forming a uniform curtain through which 700-800°C hot air flows, evaporating moisture on full contact. The dried slag discharges at the opposite end while moist exhaust gas passes through the dust removal system.
Slag-specific notes: full inlet temperature is used for maximum throughput; wear-resistant lifting plates and thickened shell handle slag's abrasive particles, and the dryer can run on kiln waste heat to cut fuel costs.
