Introduction to Bronze Chemical Composition
Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper, commonly with about 12–12.5% tin and often with the addition of other metals (such as aluminium, manganese, nickel or zinc ) and sometimes non-metals or metalloids such as arsenic, phosphorus or silicon. These additions produce a range of alloys that may be harder than copper alone, or have other useful properties, such as stiffness, ductility, or machinability.
| Composition (%) | Cu+Sn | Pb | Fe | Sn | Zn | P |
| C51000 | ≥ 99.5 | ≤0.05 | ≤0.10 | 4.2~5.8 | ≤0.30 | 0.03~0.35 |

cast these decorative bronze bowls for me. The quality of the sand casting is excellent - very clean. They were also able to obtain the bronze alloy i specified. Communication of project status was good, with nice pictures. These are decorative pieces, so i wasn& # 39;t particularly concerned with tight tolerances, but they look great and have nice surface texture. I sent an.stl file and made the patterns for this project. I& # 39;m very happy with the results and will be working with them in the future....Show all
