Rotary Drum Dryer Machine High Efficiency Energy Saving Quartz Sand Drying Equipment 30TPH Dryer for Quartz Sand Mining
3 Questions Quartz Sand Buyers Ask Most Before Buying a Dryer
Q1. What final moisture can I get for quartz sand? A: Below 0.5% in a single pass - dry enough for glass and foundry grades. Retention time and temperature are tuned to your exact target.
Q2. Will drying introduce iron contamination or affect whiteness? A: No. Wear-resistant liners and lifting plates keep metal contact to a minimum, and temperature control prevents discoloration - your whiteness and purity stay intact.
Q3. Which model do I need for my output? A: From 0.5 to 53.6 t/h across five capacity ranges. Send us your daily wet tonnage and target moisture - we'll recommend the exact model within 24 hours.

How Quartz Sand Is Dried - Working Principle
The quartz sand is evenly fed into the rotating cylinder. Internal lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the sand, forming a uniform curtain through which 700-800°C hot air flows, evaporating moisture on full contact. The dried sand discharges at the opposite end while moist exhaust gas passes through the dust removal system.
Quartz sand-specific notes: inlet temperature is typically kept at 400-600°C to protect grain integrity and whiteness; wear-resistant liners minimize iron contamination, and retention time is tuned to particle size for uniform final moisture.
