Our D.I.Y. boxes are crafted from high grade 5052 Aluminum and come in your choice of thickness - either.063 or extra thick.080. Why consider a thicker gauge? Thicker aluminum will reduce the amount of flex in your box and minimize bowing and bending. Minimizing these problems helps seal the riffles to the matting/carpet which in turn improves your fine gold recovery. Thicker aluminum is especially important for extra wide or long boxes. Sluice box blanks (aluminum box only): prices are subject to change as aluminum costs and labor fluctuate.
