Sanitary Pressure Relief Valve for Vessel (304 Stainless Steel, NPT Threaded)

This product is a compact, spring-loaded sanitary pressure relief valve designed specifically to protect small to medium-sized vessels, tanks, and pipelines in hygienic processing applications.

Primary Function: Its critical role is to serve as a safety device, automatically venting excess pressure from a sealed system to prevent over-pressurization, which could lead to equipment damage, product loss, or safety hazards. It activates when the internal pressure exceeds a pre-set limit and reseals once normal operating pressure is restored.

Hygienic Construction: Manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel, this valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries where cleanliness is paramount. The smooth surface finish minimizes areas for bacterial entrapment.

Connection Type: Features standard NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads for a secure, leak-proof connection to compatible pipework and vessel fittings.

Available Sizes: Offered in three common inlet sizes to fit various system designs

Pressure Range: Designed for low to medium-pressure applications. The standard setting range is typically between 0 to 150 PSI (pounds per square inch) or equivalently 0 to 10 bar. The valve is preset or adjustable to a specific cracking pressure within this range before shipment.
