Lightweight Construction Easy Handling & Installation Polyurethane is significantly lighter than ceramic or cast iron, making the cyclone easier to transport, handle, and install on-site, reducing labor costs and installation time especially in remote mining locations.

Excellent Elasticity Self-Protecting Against Impact The natural elasticity of polyurethane allows it to absorb and deflect sudden impacts from coarse ore particles and tramp material, preventing cracking and chipping that commonly occurs with brittle ceramic linings under high-impact conditions.

Precision Classification Performance Engineered inlet, vortex finder, and apex geometry ensures sharp particle size separation with cut points from 10-150 microns, delivering consistent overflow fineness and underflow density for stable grinding circuit performance.

Modular Design Fast & Low Cost Maintenance Flanged sectional construction allows individual worn components apex (spigot), vortex finder, cylindrical section, and cone to be replaced independently without removing the entire cyclone from the circuit, minimizing downtime and maintenance expenditure.

Corrosion & Chemical Resistant Polyurethane lining is highly resistant to a wide range of acids, alkalis, oils, and salts, ensuring reliable performance when processing chemically aggressive slurries in gold, copper, phosphate, and coal washing circuits.

No. Hydrocyclones have no moving parts and require no external power supply to operate they run entirely on the pressure energy of the incoming slurry feed, typically supplied by a slurry pump. This makes them extremely energy-efficient, simple to operate, and very low in maintenance requirements compared to mechanical classifiers such as spiral classifiers.

We offer three main liner materials: Polyurethane (PU): Best for fine to medium particle slurries with moderate abrasion. Most cost-effective option with a service life 3 5x longer than rubber in most applications. Recommended for gold, copper, iron ore, and phosphate processing. Natural Rubber: Best for coarse, sharp-edged particles where impact resistance is more important than abrasion resistance. Ideal for coal washing and aggregate processing.
