Ore Rotary Dryer Machine High Efficiency Industrial Drying Equipment 50TPH Energy Saving Dryer for Mineral Concentrate
3 Questions Ore Concentrate Buyers Ask Most Before Buying a Dryer
Q1. What final moisture do I need for sintering and transport? A: Below 8% in a single pass - the standard range for sintering, pelletizing and safe transport of concentrate.
Q2. Concentrate is abrasive - how durable is the dryer? A: Very. The thickened shell, wear-resistant lifting plates and reinforced riding rings are engineered for abrasive minerals and continuous duty.
Q3. Can you supply a complete concentrate drying line? A: Yes - feeder, furnace, dryer, dust collection, conveyors and control panel, plus plant design. One supplier from testing to commissioning.
Where Dried Concentrate Goes
The dried concentrate from our dryer feeds the most in-demand process lines
1.Sintering & Pelletizing: Low-moisture iron ore concentrate is the standard feed for sinter and pellet plants.
2.Smelting Feed: Dried concentrate improves furnace stability and energy efficiency in smelting.
3.Safe Transport: Controlled moisture prevents liquefaction and loss during rail and ship transport.
4.Non-Ferrous Concentrates: Copper, zinc and lead concentrates dried for smelter feed.
5.Tailings Utilization: Dried tailings for re-processing and dry-stacking applications.
Complete Concentrate Drying Line
One supplier for your whole concentrate drying system: hot air furnace or burner, rotary dryer, cyclone + bag filter, conveyors and control panel - with single-source responsibility from material testing to commissioning.
Iron ore concentrate: 10-15% moisture, high throughput for sinter and pellet plants.
Copper & zinc concentrates: gentle, uniform drying to protect grade for smelter feed.
Fine concentrates: sealed feeding and bag filter system control dust from fine powders.
Tailings: large-capacity drying for re-processing or dry-stacking projects.

* Recommended for ore concentrate drying: Φ2400×20000 (19.3-24.1 t/h) - the most ordered model for concentrate drying in mining plants. Smaller or larger plants: the table covers 0.5 to 53.6 t/h.
How Ore Concentrate Is Dried - Working Principle
The concentrate is evenly fed into the rotating cylinder. Internal lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the material, forming a uniform curtain through which 700-800°C hot air flows, evaporating moisture on full contact. The dried concentrate discharges at the opposite end while moist exhaust gas passes through the dust removal system.
Ore concentrate-specific notes: wear-resistant lifting plates and thickened shell handle abrasive minerals; retention time and rotation speed are tuned for precise final moisture.
