After the ore is crushed and ground to liberate the gold particles, specialized equipment like Sluice Boxes, Centrifugal Concentrators, and Shaking Tables use controlled water flow and mechanical action to physically separate the heavier gold particles from the lighter non-gold material.

    The recovery rate for free-milling gold using gravity separation typically ranges from 60% to over 95%, primarily determined by the ore's free gold proportion, particle size, liberation through crushing and grinding, and the strategic integration of multi-stage equipment like Sluice Boxes, Centrifugal Concentrators, and Shaking Tables.
