    As Hot-RolledThe most original state of the wire rod as delivered from the mill, with a layer of black iron oxide scale (Mill Scale) on the surface, commonly known as "black skin".Steel bars for construction, raw material for wire drawing, raw material for forging.
    Pickling/DescalingUse acid solution (pickling) or mechanical shot blasting to remove the black iron oxide scale on the surface, exposing the off-white carbon steel matrix.Pretreatment before wire drawing, anti-slip, anti-mold wear.
    Phosphating/SaponificationCarried out after pickling, a microporous phosphating film will be formed on the surface, which adsorbs lubricants (such as saponification liquid).Mainly to reduce friction during the cold drawing process and protect the wire drawing die.
    Cold Drawn / BrightAfter the wire rod is cold drawn through a wire drawing die, the surface becomes very smooth, the size is precise, and it presents a metallic bright luster. It is often called Bright Wire in the steel wire stage.Manufacture of hardware products such as nails, screws, mesh sheets, and clothes hangers.
    AnnealedThe wire rod or steel wire is heated and cooled slowly. The surface may appear slightly black (black annealing) or bright (bright annealing) depending on the protective atmosphere.Reduce hardness, eliminate work hardening, and facilitate subsequent bending or deep processing.
    GalvanizedThe surface is covered with a zinc layer. It is divided into hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) and electro-galvanizing (EG), with a silver-white surface.Outdoor fences, metal mesh, binding wires, etc. that require corrosion resistance.
