Yes. The FR series collaborative robot meets ISO 10218 ISO 13849 and ISO 15066 functional safety standards which specifically govern human-robot collaboration. These certifications allow the cobot to operate without a safety fence in most industrial and commercial applications. The robot monitors force and speed in real time and stops automatically when unexpected contact is detected making it suitable for mixed human-robot workflows on factory floors.

Yes. Both products are designed for minimal programming experience. The FR cobot supports drag-and-drop teaching where operators physically guide the arm to record positions. The HW-CM welding station adds FRSV-Nano 3D vision so the system automatically detects weld seam positions and plans torch paths without manual teaching. A browser-based Web App also lets operators control and monitor the robot from any smartphone tablet or laptop.

The HW-CM station with the STR-350M welder handles carbon steel for standard fabrication work. Upgrading to the STR-500M supports carbon steel plate above 8 mm and heavier structural applications. Wire diameter options cover 0 8 mm 1 0 mm 1 2 mm and 1 6 mm. For stainless steel welding a 98 to 2 argon CO2 mixed shielding gas is required. The station supports six weld processes including straight-line oscillation arc and multi-layer multi-pass welding.

The FR controller includes TCP/IP Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU as standard protocols. Optional fieldbus support covers Profinet EtherCAT Ethernet IP and CC-Link IE Field Basic making it compatible with Siemens Mitsubishi Omron and most major PLC brands. For software integration the controller provides SDK support for C-Sharp C-plus-plus Python ROS and ROS2 allowing custom automation and SCADA connectivity without third-party middleware.
