Centrifuge structure and working principle

After the inner drum and the outer drum rotate at full speed, the suspension to be separated will continuously enter the circular distribution tray installed on the outer drum through the feed pipe. Under the action of centrifugal force, the suspension will be evenly thrown along the circumference to the screen installed on the inner drum. Most of the liquid substances are thrown out of the drum through the screen gap and the wall hole of the inner drum, while the solid particles are trapped on the screen to form a slag layer. When the inner drum returns, the slag layer of the inner drum is pushed forward along the axial direction by the push plate for a certain distance. When the inner drum is in progress, the empty screen surface forms a new slag layer. At the same time, the outer end face of the inner drum moves the slag layer of the outer drum forward along the axial direction for a certain distance, with the reciprocating movement of the inner drum, The inner and outer drum filter slag layers move forward in turn and further dehydrate. The final filter slag is continuously pushed out of the outer drum and enters the aggregate tank. The filter residue is discharged from the centrifuge through the shell outlet in the tangential direction through the scraper installed on the outer drum. If the filter residue needs to be washed in the centrifuge, the washing liquid shall be continuously sprayed on the filter residue layer through the washing pipe or other washing equipment for washing, and the separated mother liquor and washing liquid shall be collected in the casing and discharged through the drain. If necessary, mother liquor and washing liquor can be discharged separately.
