The magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of materials with a particle size below 3mm, such as magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, and ilmenite. It is also used for iron removal in materials such as coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials. Applicable Materials

Product Structure

The permanent magnet drum separator is mainly composed of a permanent magnet system, a rotating drum, a separating chute, a feed tank, and a flushing pipe.

After slurry enters the tank from the ore feed box, the ore particles enter the feeding area in a loose state due to water flow. Under the magnetic field, magnetic ore particles form "magnetic clusters" or "chains" and are attracted to the cylinder. As the cylinder rotates, non-magnetic minerals trapped in the "clusters" or "chains" are dislodged, leaving behind the concentrate on the cylinder surface. The concentrate is discharged into the trough by flushing water when it reaches a weak magnetic area. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry and discharged outside the tank as tailings.
