Sand Washing Plant Introduction

Spiral sand washer is one of the washing equipment in sand washing. It is suitable for washinging materials in the sand stone processing plant as well as the desliming and dehydrating in the materials washing operating process and widely applied to separate the particles into a number of products graded according to size in the complete closed loop together with ball mill in the mining industry.

Sand Washing Plant Working Principle

The grinded pulp is fed into tank from the inlet in the middle of settlement region, and the slurry classification sedimentation area is under the inclined tank. The spiral with low speed rotation stirs the slurry, so that the fine particles rise, and the coarse particles sinks to the bottom of tank. Overflow weir is above the bearing center which is under screw shaft, and is underneath overflow end.

Sand Washing Plant Applications

It is widely applied to the construction industry, such as separating light particles from heavy particles in the gravity separation process, separating fine particles and liquid from coarse particles in the metal ore processing, and separating the slurry or liquid from solid particles in ore processing plant.
