Monel wire mesh is made of a nickel copper alloy containing approximately 63 to 67 percent nickel and 28 to 34 percent copper forming a stable single phase solid solution structure that ensures consistent mechanical performance.
Monel K500 grade is enhanced with aluminum addition significantly improving tensile strength up to 900 to 1200 MPa making it suitable for demanding mechanical and load bearing conditions.
This alloy performs exceptionally well in seawater acids alkalis ammonia sulfur containing compounds and molten salt environments maintaining a very low corrosion rate even at elevated temperatures.
It provides reliable resistance in hydrochloric acid sulfuric acid hydrofluoric acid phosphoric acid and various organic acid environments making it suitable for complex chemical processes.
Monel wire mesh is widely used in chemical pumps and valves heat exchangers seawater desalination systems oil platforms nuclear uranium extraction equipment and other high corrosion industrial fields.
Available in mesh sizes up to 1300 mesh it can be processed into plain weave twill weave and dense weave structures to meet different filtration and separation requirements.
