Product details
Ultra-Thin Wall Magnesium Integration: Vacuum-assisted high-pressure die casting enables the production of large, slender cross-car beams with extremely thin walls. This significantly reduces cockpit weight while providing a rigid structural spine for the entire dashboard assembly.
Multi-Bracket Consolidation Design: The die casting process allows dozens of individual steel bracket or steering columns, HVAC units, airbags, and infotainment displays to be consolidated into a single, net-shape magnesium casting, greatly reducing assembly line complexity and labor costs.
Optimized NVH & Crash Performance: Engineered with precise ribbing patterns to manage modal stiffness and vibration damping.
The ductile magnesium alloy provides excellent energy absorption characteristics during frontal or side-impact collisions. Precision Datum Accuracy: Strict control over critical mounting hole positions and contact surfaces ensures perfect 3D alignment with the vehicle's A-pillar, cowl, and floor tunnel, minimizing cabin squeaks and rattles.
