Product details

High-strength seamless steel pipe: Minimum Yield Strength ≥ 241 MPa (35,000 psi) and Tensile Strength ≥ 414 MPa (60,000 psi). Suitable for high-pressure transmission of natural gas, oil, and water.

Seamless steel pipe (SMLS) manufactured through hot-rolled (hot extrusion) or cold-drawn process, ensuring no welds throughout the entire body. Supplied in ASTM A106 Gr. B (high-temperature service), ASTM A53 Gr. B, API 5L Gr. B (PSL1/PSL2), and ST37.0/ST52.0 for diverse industrial needs.

Frequently asked questions

While they have similar chemical composition, API 5L Gr. B is specifically designed for line pipe transporting oil/gas in long-distance pipelines (requires stricter impact testing for PSL2). ASTM A106 Gr. B is for high-temperature services like boilers and refineries. Always confirm your project standard before ordering.

PSL2 has stricter chemical composition limits (lower Carbon, P, S), higher toughness requirements (mandatory Charpy impact tests), and more stringent non-destructive testing (NDT) compared to PSL1. For critical projects or low-temperature environments, PSL2 is mandatory.
