    It operates on the Pressure Swing Adsorption PSA principle. Ambient air is drawn into the unit, filtered, and compressed. The compressed air passes through a zeolite molecular sieve, which selectively adsorbs nitrogen molecules. Oxygen passes through the sieve, is collected and buffered, and delivered as high-purity gas. When the sieve reaches adsorption saturation, pressure is released, nitrogen is desorbed and exhausted, and the cycle repeats continuously.
