Highlights at a glance

  • To enable heat exchangers to be applicable to a wider range of production processes and harsher on-site conditions, we optimize and combine different forms of heat exchange principles. Based on the high efficiency and energy-saving features of evaporative heat exchangers, and integrating the water-saving advantage of air-cooled heat exchangers, we have developed the Dry-Wet Combined Evaporative Air Cooler, realizing multi-stage utilization of kinetic energy and thermal energy.
  • As shown in the figure above, fresh air enters the evaporative cooling tube bundle from the bottom upwards first, and then moves up into the finned air pre-cooling tube bundle. The fan is installed at the top of the equipment. A spray water system is arranged between the finned air pre-cooling tube bundle and the evaporative cooling tube bundle.
  • The process medium first enters the finned-tube air-cooled section. Under the forced action of the fan, part of the heat of the medium is removed by the temperature rise of the air. Then the medium enters the evaporative section. Under the forced action of the fan, the evaporation of the water film continues to remove the heat of the process medium.
  • When the ambient temperature is lower than a specific design temperature, the spray water pump is turned off, and the equipment operates in dry mode to achieve water-saving. When the ambient temperature rises, the spray water pump is turned on, and the air-cooled section and evaporative section operate in combination to meet the required outlet thermodynamic state of the process medium.
  • During the rise of ambient temperature, both the fan and water pump motors can adopt variable frequency speed regulation to control the outlet state of the process medium, thereby achieving energy-saving. When the ambient temperature decreases, the fan motor can use variable frequency speed regulation to control the outlet state of the process medium, also realizing energy-saving.
