Workers are producing cutter suction dredgers in an orderly manner in the workshop, fully promoting equipment assembly and commissioning. In the workshop, each worker performs their own duties, focusing on the production, welding and component assembly of cutter suction dredgers.
Single-stage Single-suction Centrifugal Pump: The impeller rotates at high speed, creating a low-pressure vacuum at the center of the pump chamber, which draws the slurry into the pump inlet. Driven by the impeller blades, the slurry gains kinetic energy and is simultaneously pressurized within the volute-type pump casing. The high-pressure slurry is discharged from the pump outlet into the dredge pipeline, enabling long-distance transportation.
Cutter Head for Cutter Suction Dredger The cutter head is the core cutting component of a CSD. It breaks and mixes seabed materials (sand, clay, soft rock) into pumpable slurry through high-speed rotation with hard alloy teeth. Driven by hydraulic motors, it features high wear resistance and anti-clog design, ensuring continuous dredging operation.
Working Principle The spud fixes the dredger via anchoring force from inserting into the riverbed, moving forward step by step through alternate lifting of main/auxiliary spuds and hydraulic stepping of the spud carriage. Brief Process 1. Lower main spud to fix hull and conduct fan-shaped dredging by swinging left and right; 2. Lower auxiliary spud for support, lift main spud and push the carriage forward; 3. Re-lower main spud, retract auxiliary spud and reset the carriage
The sand dredger can directly deliver silt, ore materials and sludge to the shore, stockpiles, transport vessels or designated discharge points. The conveying distance can be customized as required, equipped with special wear-resistant conveying pipelines and high-strength floating buoys. The overall solution is efficient, flexible and hassle-free.
It can be flexibly configured for short-distance nearshore, long-distance cross-river and beach transportation, without site restrictions, achieving one-step in-place delivery without secondary transshipment. Adopting wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant pipelines, it withstands sand and gravel scouring as well as seawater erosion, with smooth inner walls that reduce resistance, ensuring smooth transportation and less risk of pipe blockage.
Equipped with special buoyancy devices, the pipelines float directly on the water surface, eliminating the need for bridging, burying or cofferdams, featuring quick installation, easy movement and strong adaptability. The pipelines are tightly connected to prevent leakage and water pollution during transportation, meeting environmental construction requirements for rivers, ports and offshore areas.
With direct pump conveying, it ensures high-efficiency continuous operation, reduces transport vehicles and labor, and significantly cuts transportation costs and construction time. The modular structure allows convenient assembly and disassembly, enabling repeated use at different construction sites, making it ideal for long-term operation of engineering vessels, sand mining vessels and dredging vessels.
