Diving drill is an impact rotary drill. Its internal structure is different from that of a general rock drill. Its gas distribution and piston reciprocating mechanism are separate, namely the impactor. The front end is directly connected to the drill bit, and the rear end is directly connected to the drill rod. When drilling, the impactor dives into the hole, and through the gas distribution device (valve), the piston (cone) in the impactor reciprocates to hit the drill tail, so that the drill bit generates a gyratory force on the rock at the bottom of the hole.
Applications
