Briquettes are made by grinding Biomass and sawdust into a homogeneous pulp and forming this into a briquette under very high pressure. High pressure & pressing releases one of the natural components of wood - lignin which has the property of becoming liquid at high pressure (temperature) and, as it subsequently cools, it binds the wood together in its new form Briquettes. Our Briquetting Press is in screw type, it produces cylindrical briquettes with a hole through the centre of the cylinder. The briquettes produced by a screw press is easily handled and stacked, and they have some advantages over those produced using the ram and die press. While the briquettes produced by a piston press are completely solid, screw press briquettes on the other hand have a concentric hole which gives better combustion characteristics due to a larger specific area. The screw press briquettes are also homogeneous and do not disintegrate easily. Having a high combustion rate, these can substitute for coal in most applications and in boilers.

1. Step one:collect sufficient sawdust. If you only got wood pieces or wood chips as raw materials, don’t worry, a crusher or hammer mill can help you turn these large pieces into powder.

2. Step two: Dry the powder materials with a dryer machine or dry them under the sun in the open air.

3. Step three: Feed the well-prepared materials into sawdust briquette machine.

4. Step four: Give it time to cool to the touch.

5. Step five: Store the finished sawdust briquettes in a dry location.
