  • The Smart Sensor ST3128 is an industrial-grade, microprocessor-controlled 10kV high-voltage digital insulation resistance tester (commonly referred to as a megohmmeter or shakemeter). It is specifically engineered to test and analyze the insulation properties of high-power cables, transformers, motors, generators, insulators, and heavy wiring installations safely.
  • Diagnostic & Automated Features
  • Advanced Diagnostics: Automatically calculates and processes Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) testing to accurately gauge long-term insulation degradation.
  • Automatic Discharge: Automatically safely releases any residual stored electricity from capacitive loads immediately after a test is completed to protect the operator.
  • Data Storage & Upload: Features a built-in memory capable of storing up to 500 groups of readings. It is equipped with a USB interface allowing users to upload data to a computer via companion software for monitoring, logging, and printing.
  • Industrial Safety Ratings: Built to comply with international safety regulations including IEC61010-1, IEC61557, and CAT III 300V. The physical casing is rated at IP54 for reliable dustproof and splashproof field operations.
  • User Interface Displays: Uses a large 4-digit LCD display screen (108mm × 65mm) utilizing a controllable gray and white backlight for clear visibility in pitch-black or highly sunlit outdoor environments.
  • High-Precision Testing: Accurately measures insulation resistance for safety assurance.
