Highlights at a glance

  • Our high-performance HNBR and Nitrile (NBR) O-rings are engineered specifically to meet the rigorous demands of the oil and gas industry. As a leading sealing manufacturer, we provide Buna-N (Nitrile) seals for standard oil-resistant applications and Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR) for environments requiring enhanced thermal and chemical stability. Whether you are dealing with crude oil, refined fuels, or hydraulic fluids, our oilfield-grade seals ensure leak-proof integrity across the entire energy value chain, from upstream drilling to downstream refining.
  • Designed for extreme reliability, our HNBR O-rings offer superior resistance to heat (up to 150°C/300°F), ozone, and sour gas (H2S), making them the preferred choice for downhole tools and subsea equipment. For general-purpose sealing, our 90 Shore A Nitrile O-rings provide exceptional abrasion resistance and high-pressure durability. All our NBR and HNBR sealing solutions are precision-molded to withstand the mechanical stresses of high-pressure hydraulic systems and aggressive oilfield chemicals, ensuring maximum uptime and equipment longevity in the field.
  • We maintain a comprehensive inventory of AS568 and metric size HNBR/NBR O-rings to support global oilfield maintenance and repair operations. As an ISO-certified manufacturer, we prioritize quality control, ensuring every batch meets stringent industrial standards for tensile strength and compression set. Beyond standard sizes, we offer custom-engineered sealing solutions tailored to your specific project requirements, including custom durometers and specialized material formulations. Partner with us for wholesale industrial seals that combine factory-direct pricing with the high-spec performance required by today's energy infrastructure.
  • Frequently asked questions

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) is a saturated version of NBR. Through a process called hydrogenation, the double bonds in the polymer chain are saturated with hydrogen. This chemical upgrade gives HNBR O-rings significantly better thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength than standard NBR (Buna-N) seals, making them ideal for the demanding environments of the oil and gas industry.

Our industrial-grade HNBR O-rings are designed to perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -35°C to +150°C (-31°F to +302°F). This higher heat resistance allows HNBR to succeed in downhole tools and engine components where standard Nitrile would quickly degrade or lose its sealing force.

Yes. One of the primary advantages of HNBR seals is their excellent resistance to hydrogen sulfide (H2S), CO2, and amine-based corrosion inhibitors. This makes them a superior choice for sour gas service and aggressive completion fluids where standard elastomers might suffer from rapid chemical attack.

HNBR is known for its exceptional mechanical properties. With high tensile strength and tear resistance, 90 Shore A HNBR O-rings are specifically engineered to withstand extreme pressures. They offer superior resistance to extrusion and are often used in high-pressure valves and blowout preventers (BOPs).

HNBR offers significantly higher abrasion resistance and toughness compared to NBR. In dynamic applications such as drilling motors, pumps, and reciprocating shafts, HNBR O-rings exhibit less wear and longer service life, reducing equipment downtime and maintenance costs.

While we offer a range of hardness levels, the most common for oil and gas are 70, 80, and 90 Shore A. For high-pressure downhole environments, 90 Shore A HNBR is the industry standard to prevent seal extrusion and maintain structural integrity under load.

Yes. As a professional manufacturer, we produce HNBR O-rings in all AS568 standard sizes, as well as metric sizes (ISO 3601). We ensure our materials meet or exceed the rigorous physical property requirements of the energy sector's most demanding specifications.

Choose HNBR when you need a combination of excellent mechanical toughness, abrasion resistance, and high-temperature oil resistance. While FKM offers higher temperature limits, HNBR often provides better physical durability and superior performance in water, steam, and amine-rich environments common in oilfield operations.
