I. Product overview

A pup joint is a pipe of non-standard length used to adjust the length of tubular strings to its exact requirement. API casing and tubing pup joints are manufactured according to API Spec 5CT using prime API monogrammed, seamless oil country tubing.

Tubing Pup joint used to connect or adjust the length of the tubing string in oil and gas wells. Itis usually shorter than a standard tubing (single) and has a length of 0.5m~3m. It has thecharacteristics of high strength, corrosion resistance, and good sealing.

1. Ordinary short joint: The most common type, and widely used,It is suitable for general oilextraction and transportation scenarios and can meet conventional connection requirements.

2. Double PIN Short joint: Both ends have external threads (PIN), commonly used to connecttwo oil pipes or other fittings with internal threads (BOX), to extend the pipeline or change the connection position.

3. Overall thickening and short joint: By using processes such as thickening the pier or peelingoff thick wall materials, the wall thickness of the pipe body is increased, and its strength andpressure resistance are significantly improved.

It is suitable for connecting oil pipes underspecial working conditions such as high pressure and high stress.
