Spiral Sand Washing Machine
This XL Series Screw Sand Washer is specially optimized for cleaning river stone and natural gravel. River stones often carry stubborn silt, clay, and organic impurities that conventional washing struggles to remove. Featuring an elongated tank and low-speed, high-torque screw, it subjects materials to prolonged tumbling and scrubbing, creating intense self-attrition that effectively strips surface contaminants. Cleaned river stone exhibits superior surface cleanliness with drastically reduced mud content, fully meeting stringent requirements for high-grade concrete and construction aggregates—ideal for processing dredged river materials and natural sand-gravel deposits.

Working Principle
The washer operates on the principle of gravity sedimentation and mechanical conveying. Installed at an incline, the motor drives the spiral shaft via a reducer. Material enters the water-filled tank where the spiral blades agitate and roll the sand, removing impurities through friction. Light impurities (clay/fines) overflow with water, while clean sand is conveyed upward for dewatering, achieving washing, grading, and dewatering in one unit.

Washing tank is a welded heavy-duty steel plate with a semi-circular bottom; main spiral shaft consists of a hollow shaft and wear-resistant spiral blades; drive unit includes motor, pulley, and reducer to rotate the shaft; support frame provides robust stability; adjustable weir plate governs the washing and classification process.
