Product details

Sodium lignosulfonate is a natural anionic polymeric surfactant derived from the sulfite pulping process in the paper industry. Its molecular structure contains hydrophobic aromatic backbones and hydrophilic sulfonate groups, phenolic hydroxyl groups, and other active functional groups, imparting excellent dispersing, wetting, and chelating properties. The product is non-toxic, biodegradable, and soluble in water of any hardness. Alias: Lignin Sulfonate Sodium, Dispersant M-9, Dispersant CMN

High Dispersing Power: Adsorbs onto solid particle surfaces, effectively preventing particle aggregation and sedimentation through electrostatic repulsion and steric hindrance.

Water-Reducing Effect: When used as a concrete admixture, effectively reduces the water demand for cement mixing (water reduction rate of 9-15%), improving workability and strength.

Set-Retarding Characteristics: Exhibits moderate retardation, suitable for mass concrete and high-temperature summer construction.

Compatibility & Stability: Compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants; aqueous solutions show high chemical stability, resistant to acids, alkalis, and hard water.

Construction & Concrete: Used as a water-reducing agent, retarder, and pumping aid in cement formulations.

Industrial Additives: Used as a dispersant and extender for dyes, pigments, pesticides, water treatment agents, and ceramic slurries.

Oilfield Chemicals: Used as a drilling mud thinner and surfactant for enhanced oil recovery.

Other Applications: Binder for feed/fertilizer granulation, reinforcing agent for refractories, and pelletizing aid for carbon black.
