Highlights at a glance

  • field Mud Cleaner is designed for efficient drilling fluid solids control by combining hydrocyclone separation and vibrating screening in one compact unit. It helps remove sand sized particles and drilled solids from circulating mud while recovering reusable drilling fluid, making it suitable for oil and gas drilling, workover, geothermal drilling, HDD and water well projects. The hydrocyclone section generates centrifugal force to separate heavier solids from the drilling fluid. Solids are discharged through the lower outlet, while cleaner fluid returns to the circulation system. The vibrating screen beneath the cyclones further separates solids from the underflow and helps recover drilling fluid, reducing mud loss during operation. A heavy duty steel frame supports the manifold, hydrocyclones, screen and drive system. The compact skid mounted design allows easier transportation, installation and integration with mud tanks and solids control packages. Different cyclone quantities, screen mesh specifications, inlet connections and processing capacities can be configured for field requirements. The unit can work with shale shakers, desanders, desilters, vacuum degassers, centrifugal pumps, mud tanks and centrifuges as part of a complete drilling fluid treatment system. By controlling solids content, it can help maintain mud properties, reduce abrasive wear on pumps and downstream equipment, and support stable drilling circulation. GPE supports customized manufacturing according to required capacity, drilling fluid type, inlet pressure, connection size, screen specification and site layout. Dimensional inspection, functional checking and equipment testing can be arranged before shipment. Spare screens, hydrocyclone parts, valves and replacement components are also available for maintenance.
