Stabilizer

Description

Stabilizer, also known as centralizer, is a tool for stabilizing downhole drilling tools and preventing deflection, a device connected to a section of drill pipe string close to the large-diameter drilling tool, to stabilize the drilling direction. It is also an important tool for preventing well deviation changes in oil, natural gas and geological exploration drilling projects.

Drilling tool stabilizers are divided into four types according to the structure: (1) integral spiral stabilizer; the integral three-helix and four-helix stabilizers are divided into bottom hole type and drill string type. The wear-resistant material on the working surface includes 1) carbide insert

2) Inserted diamond compound

3) Low temperature brazing tungsten carbide slug

4) Surface bead welding abrasive welding rod, etc. (2) Integral straight blade stabilizer

(3) Roller stabilizer

(4) replacable sleeve stabilizer.
