Polyalkylene glycol allyl glycidyl ether contains two active groups, allyl and epoxy, which is important organic synthesis intermediates.

It is both water-soluble and oil soluble, and easy to adjust and react to make various surfactants. It is particularly used as a synthetic organic silicon surfactant and is the main raw material for synthesis of polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane.

It can react with hydrogen containing silicone oil and prepared polymer is widely used in polyurethane foam stabilizer, textile auxiliary agent, oilfield demulsifier and other fields.

While Polyalkylene glycol allyl glycidyl ether itself can be used as diluent for epoxy resins, stabilizer for chlorides, and fabric finishing agent.
