    PolyDADMAC is used in papermaking as a cationic polymer for wet end charge control, fines retention, filler retention, drainage support and white water clarification. It helps improve the stability of the paper machine wet end system.

    PolyDADMAC has high cationic charge density. It can neutralize anionic trash, colloidal particles and negatively charged fines in pulp slurry. This helps improve particle fixation, reduce white water turbidity and support better retention performance.

    Yes. PolyDADMAC can support fines and filler retention by improving the charge balance between fibers, fillers and small particles. In many paper mills, it is used together with PAM or other retention systems after compatibility testing.

    PolyDADMAC can help drainage by reducing dispersed fines and colloidal impurities in the wet end. When the system has better charge balance and better particle fixation, water can drain more smoothly through the forming section.

    Yes. PolyDADMAC can help reduce suspended solids and turbidity in white water. Cleaner white water supports process water recycling, reduces the load on save-all systems and helps maintain more stable wet end chemistry.

    Bluwat BLU DA Series PolyDADMAC is available in liquid grades with about 20 to 50 percent solid content. Different viscosity and molecular weight grades are available, from low viscosity grades to very high viscosity grades, depending on the application requirement.

    When used alone for water treatment, PolyDADMAC is generally diluted to 0.5 to 5 percent concentration based on solid content before dosing. For paper wet end application, the dilution ratio and dosage should be confirmed by lab test and machine trial.

    The correct dosage depends on pulp furnish, recycled fiber ratio, filler content, pH, conductivity, anionic trash level, white water turbidity and retention target. Jar test, charge demand test, drainage test and paper machine trial are recommended before full scale use.
