Product description
  • Equipment Introduction
  • The horizontal spiral centrifugal separator is mainly composed of a drum, a screw, a differential device, a frame, a cover, etc. The drum and the screw rotate in the same direction with a certain differential speed.
  • The material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the screw through the feed pipe, and then accelerated into the rotating drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the heavy solid substances deposit on the wall of the rotating drum, forming a deposition layer. The screw continuously pushes the sludge towards the end of the drum cone, and then the sludge is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows out of the large end of the drum through the overflow port and is discharged out of the machine through the drainage port, thereby achieving the separation of the liquid-solid two-phase or the liquid-liquid-solid three-phase.
  • Working Principle
  • Centrifugal separation utilizes the different sedimentation speeds of liquid phases and solid phases with different densities and mutual insolubility under the action of a centrifugal force field, thereby achieving separation and stratification, and ultimately achieving the purpose of separating solid particles in liquids.
  • Centrifugal separation is a pure physical separation method, applicable to liquid-solid, liquid-liquid, and liquid-liquid-solid pecially when the density difference between the two phases is small or the solid particles are fine, and gravitational sedimentation cannot meet the requirements, centrifugal separation method is easier to achieve separation. It can be carried out continuously, increase production capacity, improve separation efficiency, reduce labor intensity, and improve production efficiency; the separation coefficient is high, and it can be used for refining, clarification and concentration separation, and is widely applied in the food, chemical, shipbuilding and other industries.
