Robotic Gantry Waterjet Cutting

• Three inverted industrial robots mounted in an enclosed steel structure cutting box; • High-pressure waterjet nozzles mounted on the 6th axis robotic wrists for collaborative 3D cutting operations (edgetrimming and hole processing); • "SINGLE/FLOW-Through" material handling system with rapid rolling doors on both front and rear sides of the cutting box. Workflow: 1. System preparation and initialization; 2. Operator places workpiece on the vacuum fixture table and activates vacuum adsorption; 3. After confirming secure workpiece fixation, operator exits work area and initiates cycle; 4. Rolling doors close automatically; 5. Three robots perform collaborative cutting operations; 6. Upon completion: • Vacuum system deactivates; • Robots return to PHome position; • Rolling door open; 7. Operator removes finished part and prepares next workpiece; 8. Cycle repeats continuously
