It is designed for mining, dredging, and heavy construction. It efficiently handles abrasive and high-density slurries including sand, gravel, tailings, and fly ash.

The solid handling capacity depends on the model volute and impeller design, typically ranging from 25mm to 80mm in diameter depending on the specific configuration chosen.

The hydraulic drive offers variable speed control and can run dry indefinitely without damage. It is ideal for remote sites without power, whereas electric drives are better for fixed, continuous operations.

Models equipped with a separate agitator or mechanical seal protection system can handle low water levels effectively. Hydraulic drives excel here as they do not rely on water for motor cooling.

The agitator, mounted below the suction, stirs settled solids into a suspension before they enter the pump. This maximizes the solids-to-water ratio and prevents clogging, ensuring continuous high-volume output.
