For 2 t/h at 200 mesh on limestone, YGM75 (1-3 t/h, 18.5 kW) is a comfortable fit — it has been running at 2.8 t/h consistently in our case study. Step up to YGM85 (1.2-4 t/h, 22 kW) only if you expect to grow beyond 3 t/h within 2 years. The YGM75 has the lowest total cost per ton in its class: 18.5 kW for 1-3 t/h means approximately 6-18 kWh/t depending on fineness.

Q2: Do I need a separate crusher before feeding into the YGM75?

The YGM75 accepts feed up to ≤15 mm. If your raw material is already crushed to below 15 mm (from a jaw crusher or hammer mill), it can be fed directly via the bucket elevator. If your feedstock is larger, we recommend a small jaw crusher (e.g., PE-150×250, 5.5 kW) as pre-processing. We can include it in the complete line package — ask us for a turnkey quote with all auxiliary equipment.

The YGM75 is the most compact production-grade mill in the YGM series, ideal for sites with space. The machine footprint is 4.3×3.5 m, but for full maintenance access (roller/ring replacement clearance, classifier removal), you need a total area of approximately 50 m². Our customer’s complete line (crusher + elevator + mill + collector) fits within a 50 m² plant. We provide a detailed layout drawing with order confirmation.

Working Process of YGM Grinding Mill

1. Feeding:Raw mineral materials are evenly and continuously fed into the grinding chamber via the feeding device under stable feeding speed.

2. Grinding: Driven by the main motor, grinding rollers and grinding ring squeeze, impact and grind raw materials repeatedly into fine powder particles.

3. Classification: High-speed air flow cooperates with the built-in p owder classifier to screen and separate qualified fine particles from coarse ones precisely.

4. Collection: Qualified fine powder is transported by airflow into the dust collector and collected as finished mineral powder products.

5. Re-circulation: Oversized unqualified particles fall back to the grinding area automatically for secondary regrinding until reaching required fineness.
