  • Raw cassava is fed into the rotating drum by the hoist and begins tumbling. The drum wall is fitted with triangular angle irons kept continuously moist. Repeated collision between tumbling tubers and dampened irons scrubs off all surface mud completely. Separated sand and silt drop into the mud collection tank and drain via two outlets. After two rounds of deep cleaning, the cleaned cassava is discharged automatically-no manual handling required at all.
