Highlights at a glance

  • SMC uses untwisted coarse yarn which has good short-cutting properties, few fuzzes, excellent static resistance, and is easily cut into 25mm lengths. During the cutting process, the short-cut yarn will not stick to the knife roller. It is easily soaked by the resin in high pigment content resin paste. The unalkali glass fiber combined untwisted coarse yarn is suitable for reinforcing unsaturated polyester, vinyl resins, etc. It is widely used in the manufacturing of automotive parts, bathtubs, water tank plates, purification tanks, various seats, and various sports equipment, etc. The commonly used specifications are: 2400TEX and 4800TEX; they can also be customized according to customer requirements.
