Factory Direct 50 TPH Energy Saving Three Cylinder Rotary Dryer High Capacity Drying Machine for Silica Sand
Common Questions about Three-cylinder Dryer
1. Why is it more expensive than a single-drum dryer? The triple-pass design cuts fuel consumption by 30-40% and needs only half the floor space — most customers recover the extra investment within one year of operation.
2. Can it dry 20%+ moisture material down to the target? Yes. Initial moisture up to 20-25% is dried to below 1% steadily; temperature, rotation speed and feed rate are adjustable for your exact final moisture.
3. Can it be built for my material and local fuel? Yes. Lifting plates, lining, furnace and dedusting are configured to your material and fuel — coal, biomass, gas or diesel — so the line runs on the cheapest energy available in your market.
Suitable Materials
Sand & Aggregate: Silica sand, river sand, sea sand, gravel and construction aggregates.
Metallurgy & Minerals: Slag, mineral tailings, quartz sand, coal slime and iron ore powder.
Biomass & Agriculture: Sawdust, wood shavings, straw, peanut shell and granular biomass.
Chemical & Recycling: Clay, bentonite, fly ash, coal gangue and recycled aggregates.

How the Three-cylinder Dryer Works
1. Feeding: A screw feeder delivers wet material evenly into the innermost cylinder at a controlled rate, keeping the feed steady around the clock.
2. Cascading: Lifting plates raise and drop the material repeatedly, forming a dense material curtain in each cylinder so every particle meets the hot gas.
3. Three-Pass Heat Exchange: Hot gas flows through the inner, middle and outer cylinders in sequence, contacting the material three times for maximum heat utilization.
4. Moisture Removal: Rapid evaporation lowers moisture step by step from the inner cylinder outward, preventing over-drying and particle damage.
5. Discharge & Dedusting: Dried material leaves through the discharge hood, while exhaust gas is cleaned by a cyclone and bag filter before clean release.

FAQ
1. How do I choose the right model for my plant?
The right model depends on your capacity (t/h), feed moisture, target moisture and available fuel. Send us a sample of your material and we provide a free sizing proposal with the recommended model and line configuration.
2. What is the delivery time for a drying line?
Standard dryers are ready in 15-20 days. A complete customized line including furnace, dust collector and control panel takes 30-45 days depending on configuration.
3. Is a dust collector included with the dryer?
The dryer can work alone, but we recommend a pulse-jet bag filter to keep emissions compliant with local environmental standards. The dedusting system is designed together with your drying line.
4. Can I connect it to my existing hot blast stove or furnace?
Yes. We match the dryer inlet to your existing heat source, or supply a multi-fuel furnace burning coal, biomass, gas or diesel according to the fuel you use.
5. What does the price include?
The base price covers the dryer main body with motor and reducer. Turnkey lines add the feeder, furnace, dust collector, piping, control panel and installation drawings — everything needed to start production.
