  • 1. Core Components & Technical Workflow
  • 1) Feeding & Drying System: Raw resin pellets (ABS or PE) are dehumidified to prevent bubbles and then fed into the system.
  • 2) Extruder Unit: Typically a high-efficiency single or twin-screw extruder that uses heat and mechanical shear to melt and plasticize the resin.
  • 3) T-Die & Melt Pump: The molten plastic is forced through a T-shaped die to form a flat sheet. A melt pump is often used to ensure constant pressure and thickness accuracy.
  • 4) Three-Roll Calender: The core of the line, where three heated/cooled rolls precisely control the sheet's thickness and surface finish (glossy or textured).
  • 5) Cooling & Haul-off: The sheet travels over cooling rollers and is pulled at a synchronized speed by a haul-off unit to prevent deformation.
  • 6) Winder or Cutting Unit: Depending on thickness, sheets are either wound into rolls or cut into specific lengths by a guillotine cutter.
  • 2. Technical Specifications
  • 1) Production Width: Typically ranges from 600 mm to 3,000 mm. Thickness Capacity: Ranges from 0.5 mm to 3mm.
