Highlights at a glance

  • CWK6180-1500 is a highly rigid CNC horizontal lathe, specially designed for processing large and heavy workpieces, such as large shafts, flanges and heavy components. The maximum swing radius of its bed is 800 mm, the maximum workpiece length is 1500 mm, and the diameter of the spindle hole is 105 mm. It can feed through rods with a maximum diameter of 100 mm without re-clamping, thereby significantly improving processing efficiency. This machine is equipped with a 15-kilowatt variable-frequency spindle motor and 3-speed manual gear shifting (40 to 950 revolutions per minute stepless speed variation within the gears), providing a powerful low-torque output during heavy rough machining, while maintaining stability in the precision machining of steel, cast iron and alloy parts. The machine features a cast iron bed and 600 mm wide hardened guideways, with excellent vibration resistance and long-term rigidity under heavy cutting loads. A precise 4-station CNC turret with a repeatability positioning accuracy of ≤ 0.004 mm can achieve rapid tool changes, supporting servo-driven X/Z axes, with a rapid movement speed of up to 6000 mm/minute. This heavy tailstock features a 100 mm diameter column and MT5 type taper design, providing reliable support for long and heavy workpieces, ensuring no deformation during the machining process. The equipment weighs a total of 5600 kilograms and is a stable and durable solution suitable for general machinery, mining equipment, as well as petroleum and gas components and other industries.
