Frequently asked questions

It is usually caused by loose bolts, tramp iron inside crushing chamber, uneven feeding or worn liners/gears. Shut down to fasten bolts, clear foreign objects, adjust uniform feeding and replace worn parts, and fix blocked lubrication lines.

Blocking results from wet muddy material, oversized feed, overfeeding or too small discharge gap. Control feed size and moisture, slow down feeding, widen discharge opening, clean conveyor buildup and fit a magnetic iron remover.

Common faults include internal leakage of the hydraulic system, insufficient accumulator pressure or damaged airbag, out-of-round liners caused by long-term wear, pressure relief of safety valves and unstable feeding volume. Solutions: Overhaul sealing leakage of hydraulic oil pipes, recalibrate nitrogen pressure of accumulators, inspect and replace worn liners, calibrate or replace failed safety valves, and adopt full-chamber even feeding mode to stabilize the CSS discharge gap.

Fault causes: insufficient lubricating oil volume, deteriorated oil quality, blocked cooler with poor heat dissipation, blocked oil pipelines and damaged internal bearings. Solutions: Add qualified lubricating oil or replace all oil completely, disassemble and clean the cooler and oil filter, dredge blocked oil passages, inspect and replace damaged bearings after machine shutdown, and enhance ventilation and heat dissipation under high-temperature working conditions.

Root causes: inconsistent tension of left and right crawlers, uneven wear of four wheels and one belt on single side, deformed crawler frame and large height difference of construction ground. Solutions: Stop the machine to adjust the tension pressure of both crawlers uniformly, replace worn driving wheels, guide wheels and supporting wheels in pairs, correct deformed crawler frame, operate the machine on flat ground as much as possible, and avoid sharp turning in situ.

Excessive feeding, hard raw material, chamber blockage, poor lubrication or slipping drive belts lead to high current and low output. Cut feeding rate, clear chamber blockages, service lubrication system and adjust or replace slipping belts.

Oil shortage, dust contamination or damaged thrust bearing trigger cone runaway after tramp iron intrusion. Shut down immediately without restarting, check shaft and liner clearance, clean oil impurities, replace damaged bearings and strengthen tramp iron prevention.

Sticky clay causes chamber clogging, screen blinding, belt slip and accelerated crawler mud wear. Pre-remove mud from feed, clean chamber regularly, install belt scrapers, wash crawlers daily and limit feed moisture below 8%.
