Highlights at a glance

  • Our high-performance Buna-N (Nitrile) O-rings are engineered specifically to meet the rigorous demands of the oil and gas industry. Known for their exceptional resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids, these NBR seals serve as a reliable and cost-effective solution for critical sealing applications. As a dedicated manufacturer, we ensure our Buna rubber O-rings provide a superior balance of mechanical properties, offering excellent compression set resistance and high tensile strength to maintain seal integrity in harsh oilfield environments.
  • Designed for both static and dynamic sealing, our Buna-N O-rings are available in a wide range of durometers, including 70 Shore A and 90 Shore A, to withstand varying pressure levels in downhole tools, valves, and pipeline components. These nitrile rubber seals are precision-molded to comply with international standards such as AS568 and metric specifications. Their robust construction makes them ideal for use in drilling equipment, gas compressors, and offshore platforms, where resistance to abrasion and industrial chemicals is paramount for preventing costly leaks and equipment downtime.
  • As a leading industrial seal manufacturer, we utilize advanced production technology and rigorous quality control protocols to deliver Buna rubber O-rings that exceed client expectations. We understand the high-stakes nature of energy infrastructure, which is why our nitrile sealing solutions undergo extensive testing for durability and thermal stability. Beyond standard sizes, we offer customized sealing solutions tailored to your specific project requirements, ensuring rapid lead times and global shipping for refineries, petrochemical plants, and oilfield service providers worldwide.
  • Frequently asked questions

Buna-N, also known as Nitrile (NBR), is the industry standard for oil and gas applications due to its exceptional resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. It offers an excellent balance of cost-effectiveness, high tensile strength, and superior compression set resistance, making it ideal for both static and dynamic sealing in oilfield equipment.

Standard Buna-N O-rings generally perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F). For extreme cold or high-heat environments, we can provide specially formulated nitrile compounds to meet specific downhole or surface requirements.

The choice depends on your application pressure. 70 Shore A is the standard for general-purpose sealing and offers better flexibility. However, for high-pressure oilfield applications (typically above 1,500 PSI), 90 Shore A is recommended to prevent extrusion and ensure seal longevity.

Standard Buna-N has moderate resistance to H2S. For applications involving high concentrations of sour gas, we recommend high-nitrile content formulations or transitioning to specialized elastomers like FKM or HNBR, depending on the temperature and pressure profiles of your well.

Yes. As a professional manufacturer, we produce Buna-N O-rings in all AS568 standard sizes, as well as a comprehensive range of metric sizes (ISO 3601). We also offer custom dimensions for proprietary oilfield tool designs.
