For projects requiring those international certifications, please consult us for alternative solutions. Certificate copies are provided upon serious inquiry.

    GWD supports 1 to 8 temperature measuring points in a single unit: - 1 point: simple single-bearing or single-pipeline monitoring - 2 points: front and rear motor bearings - 3-5 points: motor bearings plus stator windings (typical large explosion-proof motor configuration) - 6-8 points: complex multi-bearing equipment or multi-process monitoring All measuring points share a single LCD display head with real-time scanning at 6 seconds per point.

    Per the manufacturer model code convention GWD-[points][output][power]: - GWD = Flameproof temperature display and controller series - 5 = 5 measuring points - 2 = Separated alarm output configuration - B = AC 220V 50Hz power supply So GWD-52B = 5-point flameproof digital temperature controller with separated alarm outputs powered by AC 220V.

    GWD provides multiple output options configurable per order: 1. Relay Contact (dry contact alarm outputs): - Unified alarm: all points share T1 upper alarm and T2 high-high alarm setpoints - Separated alarm: points divided into two groups with independent setpoints 2. Pt100 RTD Retransmission: up to 2 channels of Pt100 signal output (requires dual-element Pt100 sensor) 3. 4-20mA Current Output: 1 channel of analog current output (requires dual-element Pt100 sensor)

    Both options provide two alarm setpoints (T1 upper alarm and T2 high-high alarm) with dry contact relay outputs: UNIFIED ALARM: - All measuring points share the SAME T1 and T2 setpoints - Example for 5-point GWD: all points trigger T1 alarm at 80°C and T2 alarm at 135°C - Simpler logic, suitable when all monitored points have similar temperature limits SEPARATED ALARM: - Measuring points divided into TWO groups with INDEPENDENT setpoints

    Per Ex d IIC T6 Gb and Ex d IIB T6 Gb markings: - Zone 1 (occasional explosive gas atmosphere): APPROVED - Zone 2 (rare explosive gas atmosphere): APPROVED - Zone 0 (continuous explosive gas atmosphere): NOT applicable Ex d is flameproof not intrinsically safe Gas group coverage: - IIC marking: covers hydrogen H2 and acetylene C2H2 (most demanding gases) - IIB marking: covers ethylene and most general industrial gases

    Installation procedure (per Chinese hazardous location electrical installation code): 1. Verify nameplate Ex marking matches installation environment 2. Use copper shielded cable with cross-section at least 0.2 sq mm (minimum cable outer diameter Phi 6 mm) 3. Open the junction box, loosen cable gland compression nut, connect cable to terminal blocks 4. Replace junction box cover and tighten all four corner bolts 5. Reliably ground the equipment via the external grounding screw
