Operational Principle of Cassava Peeling Machine
Raw cassava is fed into the rotating drum by the hoist and begins tumbling. The drum wall is fitted with triangular angle irons kept continuously moist. Repeated collision between tumbling tubers and dampened irons scrubs off all surface mud completely. Separated sand and silt drop into the mud collection tank and drain via two outlets. After two rounds of deep cleaning, the cleaned cassava is discharged automatically-no manual handling required at all.
The equipment can still maintain stable peeling effect under continuous operation, the drum heat dissipation design is reasonable, and there will be no overheating or increased wear due to long-time operation. The equipment is suitable for large-scale cassava starch processing projects, high production efficiency and reliable operation, which is the key pretreatment equipment to meet large-batch raw material processing.
