Test method

0.66% by weight solution: mix 3.33grams SM gum into 500mls DI water for 5 minutes in a Waring blender at asure pH and viscosity at 21℃ using a Fann Viscometer equipped with a #1 torsion spring.Then condition for 20minutes at 85℃ in atmospheric cement consistometer. Take 85℃ fann readings in a preheated fann cup.
